I am a mobile detailer first, and your driveway is still the easiest way to use me. But I also have a shop, and for some situations it is the better answer. Here is how drop-off works.
Most of my work happens in driveways across La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge, Montrose, Tujunga,. That is the point of a mobile detailer: you hand me the key, go on with your morning, and the car never leaves your house. When you have a driveway, an outside spigot, and a standard outlet, home service is the easy answer, and it is what I recommend.
But not every situation looks like that, and I would rather be honest about it than talk around it. Some customers live in apartments with shared lots and no water access. Some buildings have rules about vendors working on the property. And some people simply prefer to drop the car somewhere and pick it up finished. For all of those, I have a shop.
Apartments and condos are the most common case. A full wash needs water, and if your building has no outdoor spigot you can use, the driveway math stops working. Rather than compromise the job with half measures, bringing the car to me gets you the exact same detail I would do at a house, with nothing skipped.
The second case is odor work. Removing smoke or mildew smell with the ozone generator is not a driveway service: the treatment runs long, and it works best when the car can sit sealed afterward. Ozone jobs happen at the shop, and I ask you to leave the vehicle overnight. One evening drop, one morning pickup, and the smell is gone at the source.
The third case is simply preference. Some people do not want a detailer working outside their house, and that is fine. Drop the car with me, and I will text you when it is ready.
Call or text me at (818) 797-5396 and tell me about the car, the job, and that you would rather drop off. I quote it exactly the way I quote a driveway visit: the same size-based prices, $149 for an interior, $189 for a complete detail, add ons priced individually.
I do not list the shop address on the website. When we book, I send you the address and a time window. You drop the car, we do a quick walkaround so I see what you see, and I get to work. For most jobs the car is ready the same day; for ozone odor removal, plan on overnight.
Everything that matters. It is still just me, Eric Young, doing the work with the same products and the same checklist I bring to a driveway. The same size-based pricing applies, the walkthrough at pickup is the same, and the standard is the same: I am not done until I would be happy getting the car back myself.
If you are not sure which way to go, describe your parking situation and I will tell you straight whether home service works or the shop is the better move. There is no wrong answer, just the one that fits your setup.
I am Eric Young. I detail every vehicle myself, at your driveway, seven days a week from 7:30am to 7:30pm. Tell me what your car needs and I will give you a straight answer.
