Shampoo and Extraction

$50 per row · carpet $60 per row

For the spots a vacuum cannot touch: shampoo, agitation, and machine extraction that pulls the stain out of the fiber instead of hiding it.

What extraction actually does

A vacuum removes what is loose. Extraction removes what has soaked in. I use an extractor with specially formulated stain products, agitate with a drill brush to break the stain's grip on the fiber, then pull the moisture and the dirt back out with a high-power vacuum. Mine has a clear nozzle for a reason: I can see exactly what is coming out of your carpet, and when it runs clear, the carpet is actually clean.

Coffee, juice boxes, trail mud, mystery spots from the previous owner: most water-based stains respond very well. Shampoo and extraction is $50 per row, and carpet shampoo and extraction is $60 per row. You will know the price prior to my beginning work, as nobody likes surprises!

One related fix people forget to ask about: headliner stains. Those need steam, not an extractor, and headliner stain removal is $20 per area.

Questions I hear a lot

What stains come out?
Most water-based stains, coffee, juice, mud, food spills, respond very well to shampoo and extraction. Dye-based and long-set stains can be stubborn; I will tell you honestly what I expect to get out before I start.
How is this priced?
By the row: shampoo and extraction is $50 per row, and carpet shampoo and extraction is $60 per row. Headliner stain removal, which requires steam, is $20 per area.
How long until the carpet is dry?
The extractor pulls most of the moisture back out, so carpets are typically dry within a few hours, faster with doors open in our climate.
