Apartments, condos, and rentals without an outside spigot are everywhere in the valley. Here is exactly how I handle each situation, without pretending water is optional for a real wash.
A true exterior detail starts with moving dirt off the paint safely, and that takes water. Pre-rinse, foam, rinse again: each step exists to carry grit away from the surface instead of grinding it in. Anyone who tells you a bucketless miracle product replaces all of that for a genuinely dirty car is selling you swirl marks.
So when your building has no outdoor spigot, the right move is not to fake a wash. It is to pick the option that actually fits: do the interior on site, do light exterior upkeep waterlessly, or bring the car to me for the full job.
The good news for apartment dwellers: my Interior Only Detail does not need your water. The extractor, steam machine, and vacuum run off a standard outlet, and I bring a 100 foot cord. If your building allows vendors and your space has room to open the doors, I can transform your interior right in your assigned spot.
Ask your property manager first; one short message usually settles it. I am happy to describe exactly what the work involves so they know there is no runoff and no mess left behind.
For exteriors that are lightly dusty rather than dirty, my eco waterless detail encapsulates dust and lifts it off with dedicated towels, no rinse required. It is real chemistry and it has a real place: maintenance between full details, garage kept cars, and spots where runoff is prohibited.
What it is not is a substitute for a wash on a car wearing months of grime. I quote eco work per vehicle after you describe its condition, and if waterless is the wrong tool for your car, I will say so and point you to the better option.
When the car needs everything and your building offers nothing, the answer is simple: bring it to my shop. Same detail, same checklist, same size-based prices: $189 for the Standard Interior/Exterior Detail, add ons priced individually. I do not publish the shop address, but I share it the moment we book. Most drop-offs are same day; ozone odor removal stays overnight.
Call or text (818) 797-5396, describe the car and your parking situation, and I will lay out your options in plain terms. There is a right answer for every setup in the valley; it just is not always the same one.
I am Eric Young. I detail every vehicle myself, at your driveway, seven days a week from 7:30am to 7:30pm. Tell me what your car needs and I will give you a straight answer.
